Admissions Process
The Carver Academy accepts students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
Applicants to TCA are required to submit a completed and signed application, a transcript of the child's school work, and available standardized testing and at least one letter of recommendation from the child's previous school. TCA accepts students who overall performance conforms to the school's mission and standards. Click here for the complete checklist.
Second through sixth grade applicants are expected to have a B average or better and demonstrate proficiency in standardized testing that conforms to the school's admissions criteria. All applicants are required to visit the school and attend classes for a designated time.
Once an interview has been completed, the applicant's status is determined by the admissions process. Final approval of all admissions matters rests with the Head of School/Admissions Committee.
The admissions process begins with the submission of a completed Application for Admission, along with a non-refundable application fee of $30.00.
The Carver Academy admits students of any race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin, and socioeconomic background to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
